STAFF

Hi! I’m Tasha, I’m a professional counselor and the founder of WARFAIR Counseling, Consulting, & Supervision, PLLC. I’m glad to see you here. Looking for a counselor is a big step, and an important one as we navigate this journey of life. I partner with people to help them learn more about themselves, others, and the world. I look forward to joining you on your journey toward wellness and restoration in all areas of your life.

Personally, I’m an academic, a therapist, a mother, a spouse, a sister, a daughter, and a friend, to name a few of my life roles. These can be difficult to navigate all at once. I’m not perfect at navigating it all for sure (who can be?) – yet, I continue to make progress in each role one day at a time. I enjoy my roles, and I enjoy learning more about myself in each one of them.

My style: I see counseling (and supervision) as a collaborative relationship. In both cases, my approach is focused on building the relationship and using interactions in the relationship as a model for other life lessons. I believe people get better by being active participants in the process of therapy and being willing to dig deep into themselves to discover and discard, recover, or re-store they find.

Why WARFAIR?

That’s a good question! WARFAIR is something that came to me several years ago. Words are an important part of the way we communicate with each other which is a primary reason I wanted to start this practice. In addition to being inspired by my personal and spiritual beliefs, WARFAIR CCS is both an acronym and a play on words. My thought is this: We are (I am) so often at war with ourselves (myself) and others, when we (I) don’t have to be. We (I) can be different. And, I can help you learn to be different too. That is what the restoration (recovery) process is about.

What part of yourself do you want to recover or restore today?
